I am wondering if you would like to be involved in a scratch built FF project. We currently have what we are calling a Formula GMT based off of the 2001 Van Diimen FF and we could use someone with solid knowledge of the rFactor HDV, INI and TBC files as well as being able to interpret real world data into the sim. If you are interested in this please send me an email. I will be in Daytona for the rest of the week and checking my emails when I return to the office on Monday the 8th.

Regards,

Sean Yoder

A very interesting read Martin. I'd be interested to see how the BHP differences affect simulated laptimes around a slower circuit like Cadwell Park or even somewhere like Monaco.

Incidentally, rFactor 2 should be coming out this summer...

Hi Martin
Interesting item.
Amazed how much of it I followed for a desk driver - then again, I did Physics and Maths but that was years ago!
Hope the engine comes back in good shape and you are able to prove your skills with results.
Cheers
