Out of the 4 or 5 international motorsport passionate countries (UK/Italy/Japan/Fin/Ger but not USA) in general i would say the Fins do outstanding in cars and Italians in bikes, both mainly due to the driving cultures in those countries. Japan does poorly given its passion for motorsport and large population. These stats are 100% F1 driver points – a sport where at least 70% of the results are based on the car/team.

Even the current Constructor champions Red Bull, I think you will find the car was Built and designed by British people in England, Same goes for Alonsos Renault (2005, 2006) car built and designed by British people in England, Just how may F1 teams have there factorys in Britain !!! ?
